The Jane Tomlinson Appeal is proud to be working in partnership with the Bradford City run as the official partner charity of the half marathon and fun run on Sunday 2nd October 2011.
With a distance suitable for all ages whether you take on the 13.2mile course, the fun run or even choose to participate in fancy dress the event is a perfect event for the whole family.
Now in its 3rd year, the half marathon course takes runners via a scenic route around semi rural Thornton and Denholme on the edge of Bronte Lane- up to Sandy Lane and back to the glorious Lister Park where the race will end.
Councillor Ghazanfer Khaliq, Bradford Council's Executive Member responsible for sport and leisure, said: "The Bradford City Run has been a huge success over the past two years and enjoyed by many runners. The Jane Tomlinson Appeal carries out some great work in the district and further afield and being able to support such a wonderful cause only serves to make the occasion more worthwhile."
