The Magical Lantern Festival is back in Leeds again and the Jane Tomlinson Appeal is proud to announce that they will be partner charity of the event for a second year. What's more, festival-goers can grab an exclusive preview of this stunning spectacle and support the work done by the Appeal at the same time.
The festival will return to Yorkshire from 24th November until 1st January with brand new lanterns to be seen along the illuminated trail, including 'Polar Bears on Ice' and the 'Chinese Temple of Heaven'. What's more, there will be a tipi bar, Santa's Grotto, fairground rides and a food and drink area, making it a perfect evening out for the whole family.
For one night only, 500 people can catch a first glimpse at an exclusive preview night on Thursday 23rd November - with their ticket proceeds going directly to the Jane Tomlinson Appeal, a charity that supports children's and cancer causes across the North and Midlands. Last year's preview night raised in excess of £3,000 for the charity and is set to raise even more this year.
Tickets are just £10 for adults and £5 for children (plus £1 booking fee), a saving on standard ticket prices for the event. These tickets are strictly limited with just 500 available to purchase.
Kate Goldring, Manager of the Jane Tomlinson Appeal said "Huge thanks to Weli Creative, the people behind the Magical Lantern Festival, as well as our Creative Partners Banana Kick for suggesting the partnership for a second year. This really is a unique opportunity to see this year's display before anyone else with all proceeds helping the Appeal to make a difference in your community."
Gary McCall of Banana Kick said "We are delighted to be involved in creating this mutually beneficial partnership between two of our clients, Weli Creative and the Jane Tomlinson Appeal. I am sure that the supporters of the appeal will take the opportunity to have a first glimpse of this years festival, raising funds for this great Leeds based charity."
