Final Call for the Yorkshire Marathon

Time is running out to join the 2015 Plusnet Yorkshire Marathon. General entry for the Yorkshire Marathon sold out early for the 3rd year in a row, but the Jane Tomlinson Appeal has a limited number of places remaining. However the deadline to sign up is fast approaching, and runners now have just over a week to get their place before all entries close for 2015.

With an entry fee of only £40, runners are simply asked to raise as much sponsorship as they can for the Jane Tomlinson Appeal. In return Appeal Team runners will enjoy all the benefits of being an Appeal Team fundraiser in the lead up to the Marathon, on event day itself and post-event information on 2016 offers.

  • FREE JTA Running Vest/T-Shirt and iron-on name letters
  • Sponsorship form & fundraising guides
  • Exclusive indoor hospitality on the day - pre and post run
  • Free place in 2016 events for our top fundraisers

For those who are unsure if they can take on 26.2 miles, the Jane Tomlinson Appeal works in partnership with the York Rose Runners who offer free training sessions for runners of all abilities.

The friendly, welcoming group meet at the Knavesmire in York and are holding a series of long runs in the lead up to the marathon.
