The Appeal is extremely fortunate and grateful to have the support of a number of high-profile patrons, who have been inspired by Jane’s story.

Clare Balding
BAFTA-winning journalist and broadcaster Clare Balding OBE is a patron of the Appeal, having previously hosted our Sporting Social events.

Hannah Cockroft
Our record-breaking patron Hannah Cockroft MBE is a nine times gold medallist Paralympic wheelchair athlete who triumphed at both London and Rio.

Paula Radcliffe
A patron of the Appeal, Paula Radcliffe MBE is the fastest female marathoner of all time and held the Women’s World Marathon Record in a time of 2:15:25 from 2003 to 2019.

Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson
One of the Britain's most successful disabled athletes with 16 Paralympic medals, Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson is a long-time patron of the Appeal.

Eleanor Oldroyd
Patron Eleanor Oldroyd has a voice known to millions as a sports reporter and presenter on BBC Radio 5 Live. She describes being ‘blown away’ by Jane’s spirit.

Danny Mills
Former Leeds United, Manchester City and England defender, turned football commentator, Danny is a huge supporter and ambassador for the Appeal.

Barrie McDermott
Barrie McDermott, who played for Leeds Rhinos and Great Britain, is an ambassador for the Appeal and has pulled on his running shoes to represent us many times.
